The Maya ethical engagement ring has a warm earthy elegance.  She’s one-of-a-kind and would make a wonderful alternative to the traditional cookie cutter ring you find on the high street.

Set into 18ct Fairtrade gold is a cloudy brown pear-shaped diamond, with swirls of espresso brown and golden flashes of amber light included within.  She’s 1.2 carats and has been set on her side.  Six pale chocolate diamonds have been added to the band.

I have hammered the gold band and added tiny hand-stamped lines around the central stone to create texture.

The Maya ring is handmade in my studio on the edge of Dartmoor in Devon, United Kingdom.

She is a size K but can be re-sized for no extra cost..

By choosing an ethical ring crafted with Fairtrade gold, you are making a difference in the lives of artisanal small scale miners in Peru, giving them a sustainable future without exploitation.

I donate 2% from the sale of this jewel to environmental and social causes.  Click here for more information.
