This ethical engagement ring is handmade using 18ct Fairtrade gold.  She is called Caillou, the French word for pebble as she has a misshapen ball of gold at her centre.

Inside the pebble sits a vibrant red ruby that has been delicately set with six little raised beads.  The band has been hand hammered which adds to the whimsical charm of the ring.

Ruby Caillou would make a wonderful alternative engagement ring for the girl who loves rubies but wants something a bit different from the usual.

Caillou is handmade in my studio in Somerset and is a size J.  She can be made to order in all other sizes and takes between 4 – 6 weeks.

She fits perfectly together with my Sienna or Zoe wedding rings and can also be stacked with my other Caillou rings.

Made with 18ct fairtrade gold from the SOTRAMI mining community in the Atacama desert, Peru which ensures safe working practices for the miners without harm to the wildlife and environment.
