Description
The Inipi is a round band in 18ct Fairmined gold, gently hammered flat and then finished with a repeating hand-stamped pattern of circles and crosses around the full circumference. The motif has a rhythmic, meditative quality, each impression placed individually to create a continuous band of pattern that is deeply tactile and rich with detail.
The design was inspired by a trip to New Mexico, home to more than twenty-three Native American nations. The name Inipi comes from the Lakota word for a sweat lodge, a place of purification and prayer. That sense of intention and ceremony is woven into the character of this ring.
The Inipi is available in 1.8mm and 2mm widths, offered in 18ct yellow, rose, and white Fairmined gold. Both widths carry the same stamped pattern scaled to suit the band. The circle-and-cross motif gives this ring a distinctly different character from the Ina’s linear stamping. Where the Ina is precise and rhythmic, the Inipi is rounder, more symbolic, and more visually complex.
The gold is Fairmined certified, sourced from small-scale artisanal miners in Colombia who receive fair wages and work under verified safe conditions. Fairmined certification ensures respect for both human dignity and the natural environment surrounding the mines. Full traceability is guaranteed from mine to finished piece.
The Inipi pairs beautifully with other rings in the collection. Stacked alongside the Esma emerald ring, its circle-stamped band complements the wider sunburst pattern, as shown in the on-hand image.
