Ida is an ethical engagement ring with a charming, refined, earthiness. She is on-of-a-kind and would make the perfect alternative to the traditional engagement ring.
This round, rose cut, 1 carat diamond has a lot of clarity and the addition of some quirky black speckles adds to her charm. I have added tiny engraved lines around the edge to add texture.
The band is made from 1.5mm round wire and has been gently hammered flat.
If you would like to know a bit more about rustic diamonds or rose-cut diamonds, you can find more information in the FAQ’s located at the bottom of the home page.
Ida has been handmade with Fairtrade gold from the MACDESA mining community in Peru, which enables them to receive a fair wage.
A £10.00 donation, from the sale of this ring, goes to The Orangutan Foundation.
Ida was made by hand in my Devon studio, on the edge of Dartmoor. She is a size J1/2 but can be re-sized.
