Rustic diamonds are perfect because of their imperfections. They are earthy diamonds that are heavily included and have natural ‘flaws’. Rustic diamonds have a warm, sparkly glow with a kind of cloudy or smoky effect and some are touched with streaks of contrasting colour.

They are very popular because each one is totally unique which means they offer a balm against the mass produced world of weddings and engagement rings that so many of us are bored to death with.

The bride to be nowadays wants something handcrafted and authentic that expresses her individuality and who knows her ring won’t be seen on anyone else…hallelujah to that!

Rose cut diamonds are flat on the bottom with a series of facets over the top surface. The cut was introduced in the 16th century and was popular until the late 1800s, when more modern diamond cuts replaced them. Rose cuts don’t have an “ideal cut” like modern brilliant cuts, meaning that each stone has more variation in its faceting and depth. Because they’re usually flatter than brilliant cuts, they tend to look larger for their carat weight.

It is important that you make sure you have the correct finger size (see how do I find my finger size?).  Although, sometimes it happens that is doesn’t fit properly.

We can resize some rings (depending on the style) but you will be charged an additional £40.00 for this service.

We recommend getting your finger professionally sized at the jewellery store.  This is usually a free service.  Make sure your hands aren’t unusually hot or cold as this can effect the size.  It is important to get the size right as some rings cannot be resized once stones have been added.

Yes, we are happy to undertake special commissions using your own diamonds.  Contact us with any enquiries.

Unfortunately, we do not offer this service.  Many times old jewellery contains solder which when melted down can contaminate the gold, making it susceptible to cracking when being reformed.

All diamonds are purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict in compliance with the United Nations Resolution.  All diamonds are guaranteed conflict free by our suppliers.
